Labor Day was originally organized to celebrate various labor associations' strengths and contributions to the United States economy. It is largely a day of rest in modern times.
The parade will coincide with the 8th Annual River Raisin
Labor Day BBQ Festival, August 30, 2014, a FREE event and tribute to all working men & women during the Labor Day Holiday!
GIRL SCOUTS OF SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN COMMUNITY 12
is inviting ALL Girl Scout members (adults and girls) to participate in the LABOR DAY PARADE!
